In spite of challenges that we were faced with upon
incorporation, Temecula is thriving. It's clean and prosperous with one of the lowest
crime rates in the state. We're saving lives by having cut paramedic response times in
half. Our local job base is increasing and the number of
commuters is decreasing. We are forcing developers to build roads before houses, and
traffic problems caused by growth outside our borders are being handled aggressively.
Success doesn't happen by accident. Critical issues like electricity, transportation,
and responsible growth cannot be dealt with effectively without proven experience and
strong leadership. My years of service to Temecula and involvement on regional, statewide,
and federal committees gives me those attributes.
I am very proud of Temecula. Our small town feel is important to me. I
commit to continue serving you with dignity, honesty, and fairness.
