One of the ways we can insure that Temecula continues to grow up well and remains a desirable city is to condition development to build only high quality housing. This does not always mean very expensive housing, but rather that it be the best that can be built within a particular category.

In addition to the houses themselves being of high quality, there are other things that we have made developers do (and will continue to make them do) that set Temecula apart from other cities. These include traffic expansion projects, more parks and recreational areas, sidewalks that are separated from the street with grass or other landscaping, extensive use of trees and plant materials, fully planted slopes, and landscaped medians in the roadways.
